Mike Michaud reported to area Democrats on the status of Congressional act ion after a breakfast gathering at Wellman Commons in Bangor. The early start allowed Mike and four Democratic candidates for Governor to make Caucus Day visits to events elswehere in the state.

 

Bangor Democrats hear Mike Michaud and Governor hopefuls, then Caucus

Bangor's Democrats held their biennial caucus on Sunday, January 31, at Wellman Commons on the former Bangor Theological Seminary Campus. Fifty-two local Democrats registered for the caucus and 29 of them, together with several absentees, will be delegates to the State Convention in Lewiston in late May.

After a 9 am breakfast sponsored by U.S. Representative Mike Michaud, Democrats from Bangor and surrounding towns in Penobscot County heard from four of their candidates for governor: Pat McGowan, Libby Mitchell, John Richardson and Steve Rowe.
